A very clean living room

I'm sitting in my very clean living room right now. I vacuumed (even the edges with the edging tool), washed the cover to the dog's bed, sprayed odor control in his corner, rearranged the furniture (I like it so much more), organized some stuff and put it in IKEA containers that look so cute! I spot cleaned the carpet. It's just so clean! I love it!
This weekend there was a garage sale at The Red Bee and I was able to get rid of some stuff that was just taking up room. I didn't have too much, but I made $67 in store credit! Yeah! I realize that at one point I paid for the stuff I just sold (for more than I sold it for...) but it feels like I got free scrapbook stuff! Fun!
I've got a 5 1/2 mile loop that I run 1-2x/week and on Saturday I ran and Lauren and Sara went with me on their bikes. They took little backpacks with some snacks and waterbottles. It was nice to be out enjoying the fabulous weather with my girls! I wish I'd taken a picture of them :(

Oops! Still learning

I thought I'd never get a photo of myself over on the right hand side of this blog! I'm not crazy about the photo, but it's the only one I could find and I didn't want to take time to take another picture. Lazy, I know. I'm learning more and more about this blog stuff! I'm going to put some other photos up. They are of the kids at the beach in Oregon. I love the pictures! I really need to finish dinner, but it can wait until after I post the photos, right?

I can't make up my mind

I've been changing things on my blog (style, colors, title). It's new and I'm trying to get it to feel right to me. It's kind of how I decorate my house. I move things around, put things on the wall and then take them down, buy new stuff, buy more new stuff, and just keep rearranging until it feels right. So, it will probably keep changing for a few days!
Speaking of decorating, I'm finally going to get some window treatments. We've been in our apartment since January. We have a 5 month lease and have just decided to renew it (maybe for a year). I hadn't put up curtains or bought the entertainment center I want because we weren't sure if we would be in this place for more than 5 months. But, the kids like it, and David and I like it, so we're going to stay. Yeah! I can actually make it feel more like home! Now I need to decide what colors...
Sara is home sick again. I've decided I'm going to get scrapping today. I can't really go anywhere and the house is mostly clean. I've got to get a few things done for The Red Bee. I'll try to post them when I'm finished. Oh, that reminds me. I've got to figure our how to post pictures side by side. The photos that are on here now were my practice ones. They are cute, though!

it's Monday morning

Ok, here I am on the computer when I've got tons of other things to do! I do have the washer and dryer going and I've unloaded the dishwasher. I also stopped at the store to buy some cold medicine for Dallin and Sara. I'm in my workout clothes so if I'm able to tear myself away from the computer I can jog over to the gym and do my workout. I've got photos spread out all over the floor because I'm in the middle of organizing them (I've been working on that since Thursday!) and I keep telling myself that I'm going to finish that up "today". I didn't do any scrapbooking this weekend. :( Weekend's aren't ususally good scrapping time for me. It's easier to do when everyone is gone at work and school.
One thing that I really want to figure out this week is how to put pictures on here! I've made some cute layouts and have some photos I'd like to share.
Off to the gym!!!!!
