I absolutely LOVE this basket. It's made by an Amish man, Eli Hershberger. If you are looking for a basket for your bike, please check these out at http://www.velo-orange.com/hefrba.html

I really, really want one of these and I'm going to order it when I get my first paycheck. Or I could just tell David and he'd get me one. He'll buy me anything I want without question if it's for my bicycle!

I went to the thrift store yesterday and picked up a few things. Two super cute purses, a little mug with blue flowers on it, a great 70's casserole dish and a set of four hand painted bowls. I wish I could've found 5 of those! Oh yeah, I also found a tablecloth with daisies on it and a pretty square of fabric 2 skirts for me, and a skirt and sweater for Lauren. I'll post pictures of those later. I love second-hand stores! Thanks Mom!!!!

My favorite album

I made most of this album at a class with Emily Falconbridge. She is amazing! I absolutely love her style! This was the most fun album ever! And it's sooooo fun to look at. There is no ryhme or reason to the order of pictures in the album. I created all of the backgrounds and then while watching TV I put in photos and added embellishments. I will be making another one of these, FOR SURE!

Sunday afternoon

Wow! I haven't posted for 2 weeks! That's funny...I've been working for 2 weeks! I'm going to have to get better about posting. Well, I'm loving my job! I really enjoy being in the library. I've made a few small changes and have a few more planned for next school year.
On Friday the Young Men/Young Women had a fundraiser. It was a Cuatro de Mayo fiesta. I'm really glad we went. The food was good and the company was great! I really love our ward! Yesterday was a NSD (national scrapbook day) crop at the Red Bee. Very fun! I didn't finish anything, but I've got a good start on a journal I'm making. I have a hard time getting much scrapbooking done when I've got ladies to chat with! I took Lauren and Sara to a swap meet at the fairgrounds yesterday morning and we found a booth with lots and lots of books! Lauren bought 9 American Girl books for $8! They retail for about $7 each. She was very excited because she's been looking for them at every second-hand store we go to, and to find 9 in one place...yippie! I found two old books that I'm using to make journals. I'll post a picture when I'm finished with them. I also bought 2 long beaded necklaces for $5!
Church was very fulfilling (as usual). It was fast and testimony meeting. I've been subbing in primary for 3 weeks now for Sara's class. Her teacher moved and a new one should be there next week. It's been nice to be with her in class and get to know the kids her age.
David bought some burgers and hotdogs to BBQ for dinner. Yummy! I can't wait! I made a cake this afternoon, but I don't like the taste of the frosting that I used. Its a whipped chocolate icing that I won't be buying again. But, that didn't stop me from eating the whole piece!
